Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026

This policy explains how Skeema subscriptions renew, how to cancel one, and when we issue refunds. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Free plan

Skeema has a Free plan that does not require a payment method. It includes 3 boards, AI generation, and every diagram type. We recommend evaluating Skeema on the Free plan before subscribing, so you can confirm it fits your workflow before paying anything.

2. How billing works

  • Pro is billed in advance — monthly or annually — through our payment processor, Razorpay.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
  • Annual plans are charged as a single upfront payment covering twelve months.
  • Your renewal date is shown on your billing page inside the app at any time.

3. 14-day money-back guarantee

If Skeema isn’t right for you, request a full refund within 14 days of your first Pro purchase and we will refund that payment in full. You do not need to give a reason. This guarantee applies to your first paid subscription only — it does not apply to renewals.

To request it, email support@skeema.cloud from the address on your account. We aim to confirm within 2 business days.

4. Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel at any time from Billing inside the app — no email required, and no cancellation fee.

  • Cancelling stops the next renewal; it is not an immediate termination.
  • You keep full Pro access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • At the end of that period your account moves to the Free plan automatically.
  • Your boards, diagrams, and data are retained — downgrading does not delete your work, though features beyond Free-plan limits become read-only.

5. Renewals and partial periods

Outside the 14-day guarantee, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and for unused time after a cancellation. Because cancelling preserves your access through the end of the paid period, you always receive the full period you paid for.

If a renewal charged unexpectedly, contact us within 7 days of the charge and we will review it in good faith. We would rather refund an unwanted renewal than keep a payment you did not intend to make.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we notify you by email and your subscription enters a pending state. If payment is not completed, the subscription ends and your account returns to the Free plan. No charge is retained for a period you did not receive access to.

7. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorised charges

We refund duplicate and incorrect charges in full, without applying the 14-day limit. If you believe a charge was not authorised by you, email us before raising a chargeback — we can usually resolve it faster directly.

8. Service disruption

If a prolonged outage or defect prevents you from meaningfully using Pro features, contact us and we will issue a pro-rated credit or refund for the affected period at our discretion.

9. How refunds are issued

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method — we cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • Once approved, refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days.
  • Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit; this part is outside our control.
  • Refunds are issued in the currency of the original charge. Any difference caused by exchange-rate movement or fees charged by your bank is outside our control.

10. Contact

For any billing question, email support@skeema.cloud. Please include the email address on your account and the approximate date of the charge so we can locate it quickly.
