Collaboration
Design review belongs on the diagram, not in a separate doc. Skeema brings presence, comments, approvals, and version history onto the canvas itself.
Presence & roles
Add collaborators by email with a role — OWNER, EDITOR, or VIEWER. Live avatars in the board header show who’s currently on the board, so paired design sessions feel shared.
Comments & reviews
- •Per-node comments — pin a discussion to the exact component it’s about.
- •Review requests — assign a reviewer; they approve or request changes with a verdict.
- •Notifications — collaborators are notified on review actions; pending reviews appear on the dashboard.
Version history & diff
Every board keeps a version history — snapshot manually with a label or rely on autosnapshots. Restore any version, or diff two of them: Skeema overlays a color-coded diff directly on the canvas — added in emerald, removed in rose, modified in amber — so a review reads like a code diff.
Live multiplayer
Real-time multiplayer cursors and live co-editing are on the roadmap (Team plan). Presence, comments, reviews, and version history are available today.
Sharing & embeds
- •Public share link — a read-only viewer with a revocable share token.
- •Embed — drop a board into a doc or wiki via an iframe with a chrome-free canvas.
Key takeaways
- ✓Collaboration lives on the canvas: presence, per-node comments, reviews, and approvals.
- ✓Version history lets you snapshot, restore, and visually diff any two versions.
- ✓Share read-only links or embed boards; live multiplayer is coming with Team.
